We are holding a series of events on career development for in-house lawyers.
In-house lawyers tell us that career development is an important issue for them, both for themselves and for any lawyers they manage.
To explore this important topic we’re holding a structured session for up to 12 invited in-house counsel from a range of organisations and sectors.
Those attending will have to opportunity to learn about the different career paths, roles and challenges of other in-house lawyers; explore the skills required in their roles and practical ways of developing them; discuss mentoring, coaching and networking and their benefits; and share the lessons they have learned from their own careers.
The session will be facilitated by two former senior in-house lawyers (and members of CLL’s Advisory Board) and operate under Chatham House rules.
The second event in the series, on Personal Effectiveness, will be in March 2019. It will again be by invitation only as places are limited. But if you are interested in attending, or finding out more, do please get in contact. The session will again be aimed at those in, or aspiring to, in-house legal leadership roles.
