Andrew Hildebrand

Andrew is a leading UK independent mediator.

He has successfully mediated cases across most sectors.

Andrew also regularly mediates sensitive business disputes early on to help people deal with change and prevent problems escalating. As a deal broker, he facilitates for organisations and their partners, clients, suppliers, multi-party interest groups and regulators, or internally, with their partners, stakeholders and employees. Andrew has recently acted for the British Film Commission to secure producer/union terms of trade on high budget UK feature films.  

Andrew practises through Hildebrand Mediation and via ‘In Place of Strife’. He is an IFTA Arbitrator and expert determiner and consults for a French media bank.

As a top-ranked in-house lawyer, Andrew has headed up business and legal divisions for media and entertainment companies, including Channel 4 and FilmFour, as well as executive producing for the late Richard Attenborough. Andrew is a solicitor and former Mishcon de Reya partner.
