Developing an in-house career

We welcomed lawyers from commercial, public and third sector organisations to share thoughts and experience on this important and wide-ranging topic, covering themes such as how people approach their career development and what it means to them; the key skills necessary to develop a successful in-house legal career; and the value that in-house lawyers can add to their organisations, among others. We will be publishing a more detailed summary of the key themes shortly.

The CLL Development Programme takes place over six two-hour sessions where a small group of invited participants talk about areas of interest to them in a relaxed workshop environment that promotes learning and networking. The programme is facilitated by two former senior in-house lawyers.

• Managing lawyers in-house – 23 September 2020
• Delivering the legal service to your organisation – 19 November 2020
• Managing up – 21 January 2021
