CLL and PLC talk Happy - Leg Tech!
CLL teamed up yesterday with PLC to run a stimulating interactive workshop on optimising digital solutions (contract management, ebilling, AI and other topics).
The conversation was lead by Alistair Maiden (of SYKE Legal Engineering) and Sarah Barrett-Vane who are experts in legal process engineering and have managed complex multi-year solution implementations in Asda and Royal Mail respectively.
Alistair's insightful presentation concluded by showing that it is possible to make your team happier as well as more productive through automation; and Sarah, among many other things, talked about the importance of defining and scoping the task and the people management activities around a project before attempting to star the task in hand. A really useful and interesting session!
As one attendee said afterwards "I thought it was a really good session – excellent panel with candid real life examples (smaller group and Chatham House helped enable open discussion). It was good to hear about the challenges on big tech projects at larger organisations – I had lots of take-aways (particularly on change management) that also apply to other areas" !
