Qualified in three legal jurisdictions, Paul has over 10 years’ private practice experience as an international corporate/M&A lawyer and seven years’ in-house experience.
He is currently Group Deputy General Counsel at Serco Group PLC, having previously been General Counsel and Company Secretary at Airwave Solutions Ltd.Paul is a trusted advisor to Serco Group’s board, CEO and the executive committees. As a member of the senior leadership team and operational committees, he has led and challenged the business through dynamic periods of transformation and change.
Paul is an experienced manager and leader of teams of lawyers and company secretaries. He has also managed other professional support service functions, ranging from insurance to health and safety. He has led major corporate finance transactions from both a private practice and the in-house perspective, including the disposal of the Airwave business to Motorola for £1 billion in 2016.
