Steve is an independent consultant and writer specialising in knowledge management, intranets, collaboration, websites and the digital workplace.
He has over twenty years of experience, predominantly working in professional services. In 2010, he founded his own company, Two Hives Ltd, to deliver consulting and content-related services.
Steve worked at global accountancy firm BDO for 13 years in a variety of knowledge roles including managing BDO's global client collaboration platform. As a consultant, he has worked with global brands and smaller companies, sometimes through the Digital Workplace Group, where he is Research and Knowledge Lead. He has also worked independently with a number of UK law firms. Steve is on the committee of the Knowledge and Learning Leaders Group.
Steve has written extensively and authored numerous reports, articles and blog posts. He co-authored a book with Ross Dawson on crowdsourcing. He has also worked with Dorling Kindersley on numerous movie tie-in books for children.
Steve is based in North London where he fails to keep up with his two energetic children.
