This event has been moved from 20 May due to possible train strikes.
CLL's award winning Junior to Mid-level Lawyers Network enters a new chapter for 2026.
As things continue to grow, the new name - Future Legal Leaders Network (FLLN), better reflects what we’re all about: supporting lawyers through pivotal career stages by means of connections, sharing experiences, and empowering lawyers to confidently create positive change across the profession.
FLLN is a welcoming, low-pressure evening for lawyers in the early to middle stages of their careers who want to connect with peers, share experiences and explore what comes next - without the pressure of having it all figured out.
This event is about conversation over credentials and people over job titles. Whether you’re newly qualified, a few years in, or simply feeling uncertain about your next steps, you’re very welcome.
Why attend?
Early legal careers are rarely linear - yet it can feel like everyone else has a plan. FLLN exists to normalise uncertainty, encourage curiosity and help you build confidence in networking by meeting others navigating similar questions.
What are we exploring this session?
AI and Technology: A Tool or a Replacement?
Designed to explore how emerging technologies are reshaping the legal profession and what that means for your future career. Through open discussion and shared perspectives, this session will bring together junior to mid-level lawyers to reflect on the rapid technological changes affecting our profession.
We don't know about you, but if you read the hype (and LinkedIn) you are probably thinking about the future of our profession and your role in it.
We don’t think it is all doom and gloom and we hope to share different insights into the technological revolution we are going through, how it may impact our day-to-day and how to stay ahead of the curve. We will also discuss the mental health impact and the importance of being human and a trusted advisor in an increasingly technological world.
You can expect:
- Thoughtful discussion on AI and its role in the future of legal practice.
- Insights on adapting to change while maintaining wellbeing and professional identity.
- Opportunities to share experiences and learn from fellow lawyers.
- Relaxed networking with a growing community of peers.
