Scene Setting panel – setting the context of the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act 1919 and the historical journey of women in the legal profession. This will be an insight into the question of diversity in the profession and how this extends to the leadership level. This panel aims to frame the day and introduce the key themes that we will discuss throughout the day
#HeForShe Keynote Speech – Lord Neuberger discusses women in law, leadership, and making change through embracing diversity, followed by a Q&A
#HeForShe panel – How men have helped, and can continue to help, women in the profession. We hope to pose the question, “what can men do?” to help women reach the higher echelons of the legal industry.
#SheForShe Women Leaders in Law panel – We explore the stories of women who have reached the top of the profession. This panel will look at the breadth of the legal sphere and celebrate the stories of women from across the profession, from the women themselves.
