Ready, Steady, Go - 2025

It sounds something of a cliché, but we're always amazed by the support and recognition we receive at CLL from you all. Thank you.

2024 was no exception with 34 events; two new networks launched and a whooping 21% increase in membership.

This year's programme promises to build on this.  Bringing core favourites – developing interpersonal business skills with Joanna Gaudoin and the Legal Leaders series in collaboration with Thomson Reuters Institute, providing insights into a variety of diverse legal careers.  Check out the current programme and look out for updates – there are new webinars and collaborations being added all the time. 

Our key market differentiator since our creation has been for 'in-house by in-house' so we appreciated your time in completing the recent short survey. A couple of take-aways here confirm that leadership and team management, efficiency and productivity and effective communication are key focus areas. These are topics we will continue to explore throughout 2025 to provide helpful tips and development opportunities for you.

Joanna Gaudoin has been working with CLL for the past four years, and is presenting four webinars focusing on the vital interpersonal skills needed to thrive in-house. Her first session, on 25 February, delves into the concept of your personal brand, and how to have a greater impact at work.

Further, we are delighted Jamie Pennington will be joining us again with group coaching sessions for senior in-house lawyers based on your personal strength style, and how you can best utilise your fundamental strengths in your career.

One final shout out, a major highlight of last year was the launching the Junior-Mid Level Lawyers network, something you have contacted us regarding, wanting a supportive, safe and enjoyable space to learn and meet fellow colleagues and make lasting connections.  Joining forces with our friends at RPC has helped to make happen and  the 'planning team' as busy looking into ideas for the first get together this year on 7 May.
