Contributor

Anne trained at a City law firm and has over 25 years' experience as an in-house lawyer in some of the UK's leading in-house legal departments, multinationals, SMEs and public sector.

She has been General Counsel in private sector companies, a member of executive management teams and has advised not for profit and public sector bodies on governance and compliance matters.

For the past 10 years, Anne has worked as a freelance legal consultant to a wide range of organisations, often acting as Interim Head of Legal or project managing major legal projects.

Her experience in-house and as a freelance consultant has given Anne insight into the ways in which different organisations utilise and manage in-house and external legal services and she calls on this experience to advise organisations on legal strategy, whether they are creating their first in-house legal function or undergoing a period of change or growth and need to re-evaluate their legal requirements.
