John is Legal Director at Elysium Healthcare.
While Head of Legal at Network Rail, John and his team were responsible for all legal support to a business comprising 9,000 employees and approximately 25% of Network Rail’s total assets.
John trained at Dentons as a corporate lawyer, before joining Stikeman Elliott – Canada’s pre-eminent corporate firm. He moved in-house in 2010, working at a small software and manufacturing company before joining Kier Group plc. At Kier, John supported the Group GC in procuring the company’s first ever formal panel, a role he repeated at Network Rail where he was instrumental in the process of designing, establishing and implementing the company’s new unique partnership framework.
