Public Affairs, Communication, Sustainability, Legal and Security Director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Coca-Cola HBC
In 2011 Lukas founded the Legal department of Coca-Cola HBC which thanks to his proactive, innovative and business-oriented approach significantly contributed to the growth of the Czech and Slovakian business unit (e.g. via “make my life easy” simplification project or new framework of cross-functional collaboration). Lukas now leads also Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability department, is responsible for Security agenda and acts as local Code Compliance Officer. In 2019 he completed a development programme at the Coca-Cola Company’s headquarters in Atlanta.
Lukas is one of co-creators of the Youth Empowered programme, key CSR initiative of the Coca-Cola HBC group for 28 states in Europe, Asia and Africa. On a local level Lukas has over a long period supported the initiative To dáš! (You can do it!), focused on helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Lukas holds Doctor of Law degree from Masaryk University in Brno and MBA from College of Economics and Management in Prague, then completed post-graduate studies in EU competition law at King‘s College London and the executive programme at IMD in Lausanne. He is the recipient of an array of awards, including Deloitte Legal Disruptors Award, Coca-Cola HBC Legal Innovation Award and the Legal 500:General Counsel Powerlist CEE (both as individual and for team). Lukas is also a member of the board of the Association of In-house Lawyers and part of the expert legislation team in the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic.
