Prior to joining the legal profession he read information science in the Moscow Aviations Institute. In 2002 Pavel received PhD from the Moscow State University for his research work on English law.
Pavel is a former General Counsel for Unisys in EMEA. He joined Unisys in Moscow in 1994 and moved to the European headquarters in Uxbridge, England in 1996. Later he moved to Australia and then to the Corporate headquarters in the USA before returning back to the UK in 2006 to assume the GC EMEA role.
His areas of a particular expertise include contentious and non-contentious IT/IP and general commercial law, employment and industrial relations law matters, commercial disputes, pensions, ethics compliance and investigations, corporate governance, data protection and cyber security. Pavel is a member of the Law Society’s Technology and Law Reference Group.
