Sam is an experienced General Counsel and Company Secretary, having held legal leadership roles for more than 25 years in a number of large multinationals.

He has worked across a range of sectors in both developed and developing markets for listed and private companies including Müller, PZ Cussons Plc, Princes Foods and API Group plc.

In addition to leading legal, company secretarial and regulatory teams, he is an experienced Executive Board member and has also led sustainability, risk, property and HR functions. He now writes regularly on ethics, equality and the law and coaches emerging legal leaders. He is also a lifelong (and frequently disappointed) fan of Crystal Palace FC and father to two daughters who make him feel very old.
