Simon works as a business coach and management consultant with people in law firms, in-house legal departments, barristers’ chambers and other organisations.

He helps individuals and teams work more effectively and imaginatively so that they can achieve their business objectives – and gain satisfaction and enjoyment while doing so.

Simon was a solicitor in private practice with (legacy) Lawrence Graham and then had in-house roles with Houlder Offshore (an oil drilling contractor) and then American Express at their Europe, Middle East and Africa head office in London. He has an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management and was a member of the faculty for the MBA in Legal Practice at Nottingham Law School – the world’s first MBA designed for lawyers.  He gained his business coaching training and qualification from The School of Coaching (then part of the Work Foundation).

Simon is a founder member of Sherwood PSF Consulting – a leading specialist business providing coaching, consulting, training and facilitation services to the legal profession.

He is the co-author of Your Role as General Counsel: How to Survive and Thrive (2021) published by Globe Law & Business.
