Sophie is a legal trainee at TravelPerk, taking the SQE apprenticeship route to qualify as a solicitor.
From the NGO world (non-legal role) to a start-up tech company (in-house team), you could say my journey into law is quite non-conventional. I am currently immersed in a team that embodies this unconventional approach as we fearlessly dive into complex problems in an innovative, tech first, out of the box solution oriented way.
In everything I do I aim to lead with kindness and empathy and this is built from a curiosity to understanding other people's motivations, attitudes and approaches.
I believe there is so much power behind kindness, it's a trait that is often overlooked but in every interaction it builds trust and loyalty. Two key principles in really being able to work with others to make a difference in the world (or the world of your peers).
I am interested in driving positive impactful change in the world, dancing salsa, learning languages and trying new foods.
