Drawing on his extensive experience as an in-house lawyer, Bruce mentored and coached other in-house lawyers.
He helped them understand the operational aspects of the role and supported their personal development.A former City lawyer, a trained auditor and a mediator, Bruce has 17 years' experience working for multinationals, start-ups, private equity turnarounds and the public sector organisations. He has spent 14 years at executive management level, including within the senior civil service.
Bruce has been involved in training, education, thought leadership, conference organisation and industry trade groups for 11 years. Well-known in the senior in-house legal community, he frequently forms part of judging panels for trade sector awards and contributes to legal sector research.
Through the Centre for Legal Leadership, Bruce helped in-house lawyers with their educational and personal development and offered support on everything they did outside of legal advice.
