We held a discussion focusing on the retention of female talent through positive company values, processes, management skills, and how these can be embedded within the in-house team.

We were delighted to host this free event on Wednesday 26 September with global legal market research experts Acritas at our offices near Tower Bridge.

The purpose was to discuss the gender gap in pay and means for levelling the playing field. Acritas shared scientific evidence uncovered in its research study Sharplegal to help drive change in the legal profession. Focus was also on processes to management skills and how these can be embedded within the in-house team.

The panel was Jo Summers, Director at Acritas, Bruce Macmillan, GC for Irwin Mitchell and Kelly Thomson, Legal Director at RPC.

Claire Debney, Head of Legal Strategy from Shire chaired the event.
