SRA data based on 180,000 solicitors at 9,000 law firms in England and Wales indicate that the profession is becoming more diverse at senior levels. The survey reveals that 2% of solicitors identify as a gender that is different from that assigned to them at birth, this equates to 3,600 trans people in the profession. Where are they? Trans* visibility in our profession needs to improve.
